One of my favorite things about Aliyah now is listening to her talk. She has quite a big vocabulary and has really mastered different tones and figures of speech. There is still a lot of words she doesn't know and idioms she mixes up--so sometimes she comes up with some funny ways of explaining things.
A few cute things she has said lately:
When her hair was staticky--"Help me mom! My hair is floating!"
When measuring my hammer with the tape measure and talking to herself--"8 pounds"
When measuring a piece of paper --"44 months"
When we were reading in the scriptures about the Liahona--"Oh, thats me, the Aliyah-hona"
