California Trip

Aliyah and I flew out to N. California two weeks ago. We stayed with my Grandma Munns for a few days. We had a lot of fun with Grandma and my aunt Jen and uncle Derric. Aliyah's favorite part of the trip was playing with Grandma's dog Kirtzee.

A few days later, Bill flew out to meet us and we went to his parents' house. It is so nice that my Grandma lives only 30 minutes from Bill's parents, so we get to see her often. Bill and I met Scott Morimune at an A's game while we were there.

Bill's entire family--parents and all his siblings and their kids--got together for an Aaron Familiy Reunion. We had a birthday party for our nephew Jackson, went to the lake, went to Columbia (a recreated 1800's mining town), had a talent show (Bill and I did the Cha-Cha that we learned in a BYU dance class almost 5 years ago), and just had fun hanging out with all of our family.

After the family reunion at the cabin, we were back at Bill's parent's for a day. On the morning that we flew home, we spent some time at the beach with Bill's parents, and his sister Evelyn and her family.

Father's Day

The Saturday before Father's Day our stake puts on a "Princess Ball" which is a Daddy/Daughter date for all the girls 18 mo. to 12 years old. We dressed Aliyah up in her pretty dress and she got to spend some time with Bill.

Utah Vacation

We went to Utah last week for Bill's grandma's 90th birthday party. We spent the rest of the week just relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.

Here is Aliyah playing with her cousins and friends:

A Chapstick Addiction

To all my friends from years gone by, remember my chapstick addiction? Until about a year or so ago, I was never complete without a chapstick in my pocket or purse to apply every 30 minutes. Well, I have overcome this "problem"...however Aliyah seems to have inherited it! Everytime she sees any chapstick, lipgloss, or lipstick, she screams to get it. I made the mistake of putting it on her once. Like they say, it might only take once to get you hooked!

Swimming

Its starting to get warm...too bad its just the beginning and it will most likly get almost 30 degrees hotter than it was today (85*) in the dead of Phoenix summer. Luckily we have a few vacations planned to locations with cooler weather (well, relatively cooler).

We went swimming in our little baby pool today--Aliyah had a ton of fun and I got a chance to get a little sun.

As you can tell by the pics, Aliyah wouldn't look at me and smile. She was either too busy playing or looking at the camera crying to "see the baby." (If she sees the camera, she wants to look at all the pictures we have taken of her.)

"The Office" Party

Aftin's sister and her husband were in town last week so we decided to throw a fun little sibling party. The theme: "The Office". We watched the latest episode (for all those fellow fans...The Dinner Party) We had a trivia game and played a few fun games like "Dunderball", "Find whats missing off of Dwights desk", and "Guess how many M&Ms in Pam's candy bowl." It was a good time. Here are the pics...we all dressed up as different characters (one character is repeated), can you guess?
