Our realtor's company had a big Christmas party with Santa, a talking reindeer, crafts, face painting, and treats. I took the kids one evening when Bill was working late. Both Spencer and Russell were a bit nervous about Santa and the reindeer! But we got our annual Santa photo (we're sad that Bill was missing!)
This is Joey, our Elf on the Shelf. The kids love finding him every morning and leaving him little treats and notes.
The library puts on a Polar Express activity for the city. Russell was sick, so Aftin took Aliyah and Spencer. We got to take a "train" ride through downtown Rochester and see the lights. (All the shops downtown deck the outside of their stores with lights.) We also got to decorate cookies, make crafts, make reindeer food, play elf games, listen to stories, write letters to Santa, and meet Santa.
