This was our first Thanksgiving away from family. We were invited to Thanksgiving dinner by a family from church--the Leutzes. They have a 18-year old girl who is our favorite babysitter and they often sit behind us in church. Our kids love them, especially little Russell. He usually ends up sitting with them at church, the dad is his favorite, it is very cute. It snowed Thanksgiving morning and the kids had fun playing outside. Bill played at the Turkey Bowl football game at the local high school in the morning (followed by 3 days of soreness). After dinner, we came back home and had a few friends over for dessert. Despite missing our family, we had a nice Thanksgiving.
