Raquel's Wedding

My youngest sister, Raquel, got married in the beginning of June.It was fun to have the whole family together. We got tons of cute pics from the day!

We were very sad to leave our good friends the Petersons. We had been friends with them for two years. Aliyah had preschool carpool with Kate and Spencer did Joyschool with Gabriella. We went on lots of walks and had lots of playdates together. We were each pregnant with our third child at the same time--it was so nice to have someone to go through all the adventures of pregnancy and new babies together. Aftin and Amanda spent time at spin class together and many evenings at Yogurtini. We were very sad to leave such good friends! We will miss you all!

Utah Trip - More Friends

We were sad that we didn't take any pics of our fun visits with our other friends. We had a blast with the Sokols. They have three girls just about the same ages as our kids. We did our traditional trip to Leatherby's Ice Cream where we got the Grandma's sundae and cheese fries--something we have been doing with them for about 10 years! We also got to visit with Bill's cousin Steve and his wife Rachel. Aftin was able to visit her freshman roommate Leslee and her kids. We love that we have so many great friends and family in Utah. We hope its not too long before we can visit again!

Utah Trip - Ethan's Birthday

The second half of the trip we stayed with Bill's sister, Lisa, and her family in Lindon. It was nice to visit with them. We were there to help celebrate Ethan's birthday. This was fun--the kids first bowling!

Utah Trip - Provo

Aftin's best friend Aubrey moved from Phoenix over a year ago. We were so happy that they were living in Utah when we came to visit.

BYU Campus

While in Provo, we walked around BYU campus and had lunch and ice cream at the BYU Creamery on Ninth. (Where Aftin used to work while a student, and right next to where Bill and Aftin lived as freshmen--sadly both our dorm buildings have been knocked down to rebuild.)

We were able to come celebrate Jovi's birthday with them in Wymount. (Bill and I lived here when we married at BYU!) The kids had so much fun running around together.

Utah Trip - Fun with Brent and Sarah's Family

We stayed with Bill's brother and his wife in Cedar Hills for the first half of our trip. It was so nice to spend time with them and the kids had a blast playing with a bunch of cousins their age. We went to Thanksgiving Point Farm, as well as up the canyon for a Memorial Day picnic. We even went up to Cascade Springs, which was pretty great.
