Out of Africa

Aliyah and I went with our friends Aubrey and Eve to Out of Africa (a wildlife preserve/zoo about 1.5 hours north of Phoenix). We got really close to lions, tigers, bears, hyenas, and a few other animals. Aliyah loved petting the 10-ft boa constrictor and seeing the workers "sweep the rhino" (they use a broom to clean off all the dust and dirt). We also got to go on a safari ride through some open area where there were giraffes, zebras, ostriches, camels and antelope. We even got to feed the giraffe and camel carrots--right from our hands! We also got to see the tigers play and swim with the trainers. It was a lot of fun!
