California Trip

Aliyah and I flew out to N. California two weeks ago. We stayed with my Grandma Munns for a few days. We had a lot of fun with Grandma and my aunt Jen and uncle Derric. Aliyah's favorite part of the trip was playing with Grandma's dog Kirtzee.

A few days later, Bill flew out to meet us and we went to his parents' house. It is so nice that my Grandma lives only 30 minutes from Bill's parents, so we get to see her often. Bill and I met Scott Morimune at an A's game while we were there.

Bill's entire family--parents and all his siblings and their kids--got together for an Aaron Familiy Reunion. We had a birthday party for our nephew Jackson, went to the lake, went to Columbia (a recreated 1800's mining town), had a talent show (Bill and I did the Cha-Cha that we learned in a BYU dance class almost 5 years ago), and just had fun hanging out with all of our family.

After the family reunion at the cabin, we were back at Bill's parent's for a day. On the morning that we flew home, we spent some time at the beach with Bill's parents, and his sister Evelyn and her family.

It looks like you had a lot of fun and you sure look beautiful, Aftin. I want a vacation like that - out of state - that includes the beach! One of these days...

Love the pics!! Your hair is getting so long...I second Sharee's comment that you look so beautiful. And I can't believe how big Aliyah is...there is one picture where there are two little girls dressed in pink and at first I thought Aliyah was the smaller one of the two and then I realized that she was actually the more grown-up little girl. Wow!! I can't believe how time flies! You and Bill look great dancing by the way...what a fun vacation!

Okay, I just took a closer look and I think Aliyah is actually the smaller of the two little girls. Whoo...sigh of relief...I was beginning to think that time just passes too quickly and Aliyah was growing up too big before I have even had a chance to meet her. I'm so happy to see that she's still a big little girl (rather than a little big girl). :-)
