Christmas Day

Christmas morning before the mess of paper and toys. Because of Russell getting into presents, we didn't put any presents under the tree until Christmas morning. It was kind of nice that way so the older kids didn't try to play with and figure out what the presents were.

An Aaron family tradition we have continued in our own family--Christmas morning stairs picture. Russell is playing with some stocking stuffers. We let the kids get up and look in their stockings while we tried to get a few more minutes of sleep.

Opening Presents....

Aliyah got a Lalaloopsy doll, the MagicTreehouse book collection, and a new sweater, a lego set and a real ceramic tea set (she has been wanting one for years!) Spencer got a razor scooter, a pirate ship, a Batcave with lots of superheroes and villains. Russell got a play tunnell and some a new hat/mitten set with clips. Some family gifts were sleds, books, and our kids first video game: Wii Kids Dance.

We skyped with Aftin's parents while we opened the gifts from them. It was fun to be able to spend some time with them on Christmas Day.

Playing with our new things...

Spencer and Bill enjoyed some time together doing manly things like making fire and playing  superheroes.:)

In the evening we went over to our friends' home for Christmas dinner.
